Tourists travelling to Liverpool will find a city famous the world over for, amongst other things, the Beatles. Albert Docks is listed as a World Heritage site with tourist attractions such as the 'The Beatles Story', a vibrant mix of exhibits and a museum dedicated to the Fab Four. Ferries to Liverpool are a great way to travel to the city full of interesting buildings such as its cathedral dominating the skyline.

Albert Docks is also the home to a maritime museum and Tate Liverpool as well as hotels, restaurants and shops. Liverpool has one of the oldest established Chinese communities in Europe with a magnificent Imperial Arch at Nelson Street, the largest outside China at 50 feet tall and spanning the whole street. Liverpool is well known for its football club at Anfield.

A short distance from Liverpool city centre is the traditional seaside resort of Southport with its sandy beaches and Victorian pier. Nature lovers will find the nearby sand dunes and pine woods at Formby very attractive. A great day out can be had at nearby Knowsley at its Safari park which is only eight miles from the centre of Liverpool.

The hotels at Albert Dock are very popular with tourists as are the other hotels dotted around the city. You will find luxury hotels, service apartments and small but friendly guest houses throughout Liverpool and its surrounding areas.
